Almeria Airport is split over three floors with the majority of departures and arrivals taking place on the ground floor. The departures terminal at the airport has 21 check desks and a further 6 are to be added when phase II of the expansion work is completed by the middle of next year.
After you have checked in you will need to head towards the right end of the terminal to go through the security control checkpoint. Once into the departures lounge you will find a newspaper shop, a gift shop, a cafe & bar and also the main Aldeasa shop which sells duty free perfumes, alcohol and cigarettes. There are also two coffee shops within this area and an open air cafe on the upper level.
The arrivals area at Almeria Airport is located at the far left end of the terminal building and consists of 4 baggage reclaim belts. When you have entered the baggage reclaim area simply check the information screens that will indicate what carousel your luggage will appear on. Once you have exited this area into the arrivals hall you will find the 5 corresponding car hire desks and tour operators situated here.
